As we can see that its been a long time since i last update my blog. That's because i have no update on my bike. Yes, it do hurts me a lot since my budget is always so tight that even i have not buying a thing or two for the bikes i still have not enough money for it.
But Definitely i will continue the work that is due when i receive my bonus. For the time being, there is a race that attracts me A LOT. it was Supermoto race that will be held at Elite Track at USJ. I am definitely going to race on that series. It will be open category, but if i'm fast enough i think my YZ125 will smoke the 900cc KTM. That if i have the compression it needed.

Gas Tank
Hi,
I have cleaned up the dirrrty gas tank, removed its glue crap out of it. After that i sand it down to 500 & 800 grit(400 grit wasn't available)
it was supposed to be followed up with polish but i will get to that later.

Motion Pro Clutch Cable
Hi,
Last saturday i went to CBK motorsport to buy a Clutch Cable. The last time i went there i've already noticed this but got no money to buy it. It's costs me about RM120. It is different year by year on the cables, and actually i get myself the one from year '94 but mine is '92 version. I just pray that this would fit and i was lucky that it does. :)
Having that, it feels wrong if i still had the worn down clutch perch, so i treat it and give it a new coat of black paint.

Renthal Handlebar Brace Pad
Hi,
I have just bought a new Brace pad from Renthal. I have always wanted this as it adds the liveliness of the bike. Sadly they don't bring a blue one, only have black one. But that's ok because it's not weird, rather than having a green brace pad. I can't find it at Singapore, so i guess i have to buy it here. There's a place sell it at Rm55 but they always run out of stock.
This is merely used for cosmetic purpose only, i don't think i'm gonna use it and i pray that i will never use it as its purpose is to protect your head from smashing to the bar if there is any mischief happens.

Autopsy
Hi,
Yesterday i have opened up the top end of my YZ, after months of possessing it. The condition is quite bad, and first thing that i hate the most of a bike when their screws are al screwed up! A nut here, a bolt there, a rusted f*cked up screw.. thats all gonna make a simple job take hours and hours. I will replace all the shit with new one, or maybe re-use some of the original and and get it zinc'd first.
I have taken a couple of pic but my laptop couldn't detect it. i will post the pic when that problem solved.
the piston looks OK, the rings are somehow seems "stretched".
the cylinder is fuc*ed up,it has been re-sleeved, but nowhere near perfection. missing ports here and there. the bore are also seems loose for the piston,no wonder it was hard to start it.
the cylinder head has also shows signs of detonation. Damn.
Power valve..i cant pull them out or now, looks very similar with my TZM, drum type.

Kick starter
Hi,
Just a quick update on my YZ. I've been busy with the racing is just around the corner, and my sister Yamaha Ego is also giving me headache.
Last week i managed to give Amir RTB my kick starter which had loosed,and the nut is also screwed,and rust at the same time. So, Amir have give it a treatment of this
His original plan is not working,so he just tapped the thing to the screw, and the he twist the screw counter-clockwise. It worked, and out of the sudden my 10 bucks flewn with the victory. LOL.
and this is the kickstarter, waiting to be installed any time soon. Just need to find a ball bearing and a trusty spring..

Front brake cable guide
Hi,
As i have mentioned before, i have tried to make this part myself. Obviously i have removed that part since it wasn't up to the task. So now, i am officially hunting for this part from now on.
This is a product from Pro-Circuit but i doubt that i would find it here. So i must made this part,and my goal is again, to minimise weight and looks good at the same time.

New throttle and Chain Roller
Hi,
It's been a while since i don't update, well, i guess all blog are the same. Updates are when you have something to tell/show otherwise u just read/listen.
So, yesterday i just bought a new throttle, no other than Domino Throttle, the world's best throttle known to man.
It's costs me for a MYR100,on installment basis. I'm lucky because i bought this from non other than my trustfull shop, RTB racing services.
Before that i just went to sentul to buy a chain roller as the one from my bike is f*cked.I found it had torn on one spot and it doesn't roll anymore. So a cheap way to overcome this is i bought the Racing Boy new product, the chain tensioner.
i didn't buy this whole thing as i already aware of the quality of their products. So i opt to buy their roller replacement only, for a fraction of the cost, MYR15.
Both of this items will be installed this weekend, so expect another pics in a few days.Ta!

Pagi tu aku bangun lambat,alarm aku tak berbunyi. Pak tam jugak la yg kejut aku jam 8.40 pagi.tapi pak tam takkan la nak marah aku lak kan,hehe.kate anak buah yg best.
so dlm 8.30 mcm tu la aku smpai,tak nampak pun kemarahan kat riak wajah die.
Lepas tu kitorg singgah gi rumah kawan die,uncle Eric. Eric dah tgh siap packing time kitorg sampai tu.Hilux die dah ade 2 bijik MX dah,CR125 dgn RM250. Pak tam tanye nk ikut skali then die ckp OK.so dgn pantas nye kitorg naikkan YZ kat atas Hilux die.Time ni la yg best,dengan ade nye ramp aluminium die tu mmg cepat je naik.brand DRD kot

Rendezvous kat Serendah,rawang.kat sane je dah ade dekat 5 bijik ranger,hilux dll dgn moto pak tam, KX250F kat atas ranger.ramai jugak yg bawak KX250F ni,rase2 nye dekat 10 bijik la..ni yg rase nak amek KX lak ni!haha..poket nipis cam aku ni mimpi la nak pakai kot..haha

Aku memang tak lengkap pun,yg aku ade cume helmet,glove dgn Padding(bukan KOtex,tapi Fox racing).Campur dgn Gaeren X2 yg die bagi kat aku last week tu je la.die bagi la kat aku sepersalinan Fox Racing.haha,ni yg aku pelik ni.Set tu warne oren.Padahal setahu aku la die tak pernah lak pakai KTM.Yg die pakai tu FOx jugak tapi warne merah..rupenye die bgtau aku,die main beli je tak kisah pasal warne...main beli je..haha..ape la punye pakcik,matching la sket.takleh bayang aku moto hijau KX die tu dgn baju Fox oren die tu.
Dah selesai persalinan perang aku tu lak,die cakap goggle takde..nasib baik ade kedai kat situ yg ade jual.Sebenarnye owner die pun geng2 pak tam jugak(lewat petang tu die jugak la belanje aku mkn nasi lemak rendang ayam-thanks uncle!) Abes aku kene pow Rm68 utk goggle yg nampak simple dan murah tu.takpelah,daripade mate aku kene dek lumpur baik aku pakai..warne oren lak tu,warne lain takde.memang la matching dgn baju Fox pinjam aku tu,tapi tak matching langsung dgn helmet dan YZ aku.Adoiyai..
Dah lengkap pankai semue tu, baru la kitorang nk mulekan perjalanan. Ha,kalau nak tau sampai waktu tu aku tak try hidupkan YZ pun dari last time aku main kat blkg umah aku aritu.mmg aku cuak jugak la,nanti tak leh hidup tak ke naye aku..tapi time tu pak tam cakap nak masuk hutan ni dalam 4 jam(sekarang ni aku dah kenal dah pak tam,die memang suke bagi sedap je bile cerite...last2 bukan 4 jam,pukul 6 balik tu!)

Report Khusus 17&18 April 2010- Part 1
Hai,
Kali ni aku nak cakap dlm bahase kebangsaan pulak la..ade yg dah komplen tak berape paham kat english aku.so kali ni harap2 korang faham la serba sedikit kat ape yg aku nak tulis.
Sabtu
Pak Tam aku dah kol malam jumaat tu,soh aku bawak YZ gi rumah die..bersungguh2 tol die ni. Tapi sebab YZ aku masih banyak lagi yg nak di buat,so aku mintak tangguh. Sebenarnye aku ni susah nak cakap kat orang,terutame sekali kalau org tu dah bersungguh-sungguh. Dah la banyak lagi kat dalam To-Do list aku ni ha..Pagi sabtu tu mmg aku dah plan dah ape yg nk kne buat.
Mule-mule aku nk buat tayar belakang die.dah berminggu tu aku biar die pakai tayar motard die tu. Malam jumaat tu aku dah bukak tayar knobby die tu. aku tgok kat dlm die rupenye die balut dgn masking tape je.ape la punye nak senang kerje. Nasib baik die tak pakai tayar mati kat YZ tu. Mmg susah la nk cabut balik sbb semuenye dah reput. Pagi sabtu tu aku pasang balik dengan Duct Tape, tahan lagi.time nak pasang pulak aku ade prob sket dgn Rim Lock die tu. nampak gaye kene gi Bikerz balik ni soh diorang pasang.sambil tu aku bukak kick starter aku yg dah longgar tu,nak buat balik skru die dah rosak.bawak gi bikerz tapi diorang tak leh buat ape.nasib baik rim aku dah diorang pasang.
Lepas tu pulak, problem throttle cable aku tu. sebab dah kesuntukan mase aku pun pasang balik lah cable tu. tak berape puas hati tapi takpe,lain kali pulak la aku tukar Domino.hehe.
Lepas tu dah lewat malam, ade satu lagi problem aku yg tak setel2 lagi. Seat Cover die. nasib baik ade kedai motor yg bukak lagi. aku gi sane,dgn harapan diorang boleh sarungkan cover seat rx-z atau mane2 moto cub yg lain. tapi tak muat rupenye..nasib baik die ade offer aku satu kedai lain. Kedai balut seat ni kat bawah rumah flet je, kat situ family punye business.semue perempuan, makcik tu dgn anak-anak dare die. Haha.nasib baik aku tgh comot2 time tu kalau tak mau aku dapat cover seat tu free-free je.LOL. Tapi memang best la kat situ sebab kedai tu bukak lagi tu even dah pukul 1pagi.nasib baik diorang tak pasang kan kulit kucing kat seat aku tu, sbab aku tengok kucing mmg bersepah2 kat sane, and muke diorang pun dah ngantuk2 lepas tengok drama kat tv3 tu.
balik tu pulak aku terus shoot gi rumah pak tam aku amek tata die. Pak Tam dah tido dah time tu,die soh aku amek je kunci tata kat atas tembok die.berani betul die letak kat atas tu.time tu aku terpikir jugak yg perangai tu lebih kurang jugak mcm aku.haha..Balik tu kene tahan dengan polis.mane tak nye, dah tinted dekat 90% tata tu.dah la tayar die nampak ganas time malam.(Time siang die nampak macam pickup orang bawak taugeh gi pasar je). Lepas aku ckp aku pinjam pickup ni utk main motocross die terus bagi lepas.mmg patut pun,sbb aku mmg nk lempang die je kalau cakap banyak(angan-angan aku je ni). Siap semue tu aku bawak naik YZ atas tata tu..tidor la aku dlaam pukul 4 pagi..

New Front plate & Rear Fender
Hi,
Last saturday while i was looking for my race bike item at a local shop, i was shock because they also have a few MX items for sale. They displayed the front fender,front plate & rear fender, ranging from all the different colours. But unfortunately for suzuki fans,they dont have any yellow coloured parts. Thankfully they have my YZ part. What interest me the most is their price, where it was sold for Rm35 only, whereas others sells it at RM150 approx. this was waay cheaper. In my opinion,this is not only cheap, but it was suppose to be the price for all MX parts because it was only plastics, no different from a pail plastics. The only different is their design, in which think don't have to be so expensive at all..sigh
The parts sold were not any model specific, in which all the item don't have any particular model. They were all universal parts. This is a pain-in-the-ass to fit in, and it don't have the mounting tabs on it. Even if it have, i don't know for which model or year it was suppose to be.
I had only installed the front plate only for now, as i must remain focused on my race bike. My race is on this very sunday though..

Seat Cover
Hi,
This is serious. I have found a moron who installed the previous seat cover. Originally , it was a pink-purple-and-white bike. I find out a picture of how it should looked 16years ago.
After some serious working, prying out the 2-layers of staples,i repeat,2 layers of staples, i finally manages to see the remaining foam on the seat.it was not so bad but certain part of it were torn.
This is how it looks after taking out the fugly seat cover. next plan is to put on a better cover which is grippier and also have some Yamaha blue accent on it.

MX Boot
Hi,
From the moment i got this bike i've always been thinking of the boot. I must get one of those because my Race Boots is not,under no circumstances, should be ride on the dirt. Well, my uncle just called in and ask me whether i would like to buy it from him. hm..should be cheap though because i'm his only nephew that rode MX..LOL
Fortunately, it was the same size as me.Size 42.Black Colour from Gaerne.

From the moment i got this bike i've always been thinking of the boot. I must get one of those because my Race Boots is not,under no circumstances, should be ride on the dirt. Well, my uncle just called in and ask me whether i would like to buy it from him. hm..should be cheap though because i'm his only nephew that rode MX..LOL
Fortunately, it was the same size as me.Size 42.Black Colour from Gaerne.

Throttle Cable
Hi, I find out another thing that annoys me a lot. This time it's the throttle cable.
argh.when will it all gonna revealed! I guess i wont be surprised if one day i open up the engine and find out it's missing out a piston in it!
As you can see here from the picture that the throttle is somehow seem 'wrong'.. The cable should run on top of the bar but it run below,thus the throttle setup is moved a bit to the front.this was due to the previous owner have exchanged the throttle with the one from Yamaha TZM150 which was short and did not do its job good enough.
so the search for a nes throttle begins.
i have searched for a new cable,and i found this at RTB.
this should be good for my bike, as i had measure it(with my hand as the vernier caliper) and it was long enough.
but i didn't bought it at that time because as i remembered the last time i check the price is not the same, and my budget is also insufficient as all the fund had to go to my race bike, because the race is coming.please refer to www.redtheracer.blogspot.com for details.
i guess that i will buy it later..

Few DIY parts..
Hi, last Sunday i managed to get some things done...Things that wasn't cost much, but it should be functioning perfectly.
Brake hose holder
The fugly previous one were thrown away heartlessly as it was odd colored and rusty.
This one weight much more lighter than that and it held there by a double tape. i wondered whether it would be a good idea or not. this is the hose holder from MotoGP fairing.should be tought,right?
Chain slider
There was suppose to have another slider on it but it went missing. I do remember that it was also resembles of something which i have in my toolbox ..

RTB Racing Services
Hi, today i went to *RTB to make my own engine bracket. It was the one missing from the very 1st day i got it and to me it was the most annoying thing that went missing. How would anyone loose it? I'm sure the previous owner took it along. Another good tip, buy your bike new, or from someone who want to quit riding. That way they might throw away anything with the purchase. Long story short, i managed to get it done. It was a hell of a job with hot weather plus office attire.Nevertheless, it was all fun when it came to playing with aluminum!
This is when it first came out...
Now, no more vibration!
*For those who never heard of RTB, it was a bike shop located near Taman Bolton, Batu Caves. Here is where i learn a lot of things from many2 helpful friends. It was also my Sifu's workshop where i learn everything from him, from Racing, Custom Building,everything.just name it and he knows it well.
If you want to custom your bike, just give him a call.
This is when it first came out...

Rear tire
Hi, you guys probably remembered that i had mentioned about my rear tire. it was deflated badly..
so i went to bikerz to buy the tube..it was 19" and costs me RM19.(RM1 per inch?)
and so i tried to change it by myself but i don't have the tools that i needed..so off i went to a nearest workshop.
oh,and the mean time, the motard tyres were fitted for a moment. Nice eh?
Unfortunately,i dont have the rim lock that i was suppose to have.. i studied about it on Youtube and decided that i must have it since i want it to be as perfect as it can be. So off i went again to Bikerz to search for the rim lock and also the rubber band.
Then, unfortunately they have given me the wrong size..it was suppose to be 1.85" but they've given me the 2.15"..duh!

Ace hardware
I bought a chain to lock the bike safely. The chain is Zinc-coated so it wont rust.
and i also bought hose that i plan to put on my carb
Apart from that.these 2 items arrive at my doorstep
these were from honda i guess as it have the unique nut form for the front disc..
i'm looking for yamaha hub to put on this motard rim to my yz.
